6. I have a girlfriend in California whom I’ve dated now for 9 months. I suppose that’s romantic enough.
7. After initially receiving permission from the MA255 instructor in November to take MA205 this semester instead of MA255, I learned, to my horror, that the math department itself transferred me back into MA255 on Monday night of reorgy week. When I went to plead my case to the math department, a colonel (who alone, he revealed, made the call to thrust me back into MA255 in the hope that I would miraculously change my choice of major from human geography to something STEM) told me that I actually did not have any choice in the matter because, supposedly, I already understood all the material in MA205 because I passed MA153. This almost could not be further from the truth. I did indeed pass MA153, but that was because I was dragged along by my brilliant math-minded classmates. As far as comprehension goes, I knew nothing. And with that, I conclude my tragic tale.
